A Sounding Board for Growth + Cohesiveness
Artist and owner of Creative Capes, Holly came to me seeking a photographer that could showcase her product in action. This was a tall order with the objective being to convey the child’s joyful expression and emphasize the cape on their back. In addition to multiple shoots working with children, we began working on Creative Capes’ broader image and taking the graphics she was creating to the next level. Creating cohesiveness across social media, emails, website content and print materials made for a more seamless transition between platforms, ensuring users knew they were in the right place.
Additionally through the transition from selling primarily as an art festival vendor to online sales, evaluating print ad opportunities, and promoting collab campaigns, I became a sounding board for decisions Holly was making to grow the business. Taking a partner approach rather than a contractor hired for individual executions made me a more valued and effective investment for Creative Capes.
Working with Erika I constantly notice the development and elevation of my brand across all touch points. I have partnered with her for guidance and templates in my social media, design and content for print materials, and critical analysis of my website.
Her thoughtful questions at the beginning of every project are instrumental in honing down what I’m trying to convey and the best way to deliver that message.
